Montana's Parrot & Exotic Bird Sanctuary is a federa100761711uMEyhn_ph501(c)(3) tax exempt organization that raises funds to support the extensive work we do rehabilitating exotic birds from all situations. On occasion we also take in other animals that need refuge until they can find homes.

A great deal of Montana's Parrot & Exotic Bird
Sanctuary's efforts is directed at educating the public about the issues surrounding parrots in captivity as well as their wild counterparts.

Montana's Parrot & Exotic Bird Sanctuary's ultimate goal is to avoid the need to have sanctuaries by educating people on the complicated social and physical needs of birds and teaching appreciation of animals in their native environment.

We also offer Animal-assisted therapy programs to our communities. Animal-assisted therapy is a type of therapy that involves an animal becoming a fundamental part of a person's treatment. Animal-assisted therapy is designed to improve the physical, social, emotional and/or cognitive functioning of the patient, as well as provide educational and motivational effectiveness for participants.
